Emily Sweet has from the beginning represented a number of food and drink authors. Having almost committed to training as a chef before being lured into the world of publishing, Emily has a strong passion for cookery and closely follows developments on the food scene. In addition to her agenting/publishing network, Emily has great restaurant knowledge and understanding, thanks to previous work experience (most notably at London’s River Café) and also, truth be told, living with a former chef. Beyond restaurants, she has excellent food industry contacts, including chefs, stylists and food writers, and good relationships with restaurant and food PR companies.

Emily particularly enjoys working closely on developing book ideas with chefs, food writers and food brands, using her knowledge to bring new ideas and extra value to clients’ projects.
