Jo Stubbs grew up in rural Staffordshire, has a degree in biochemistry, and lives in Bristol. She dreams of moving into the countryside where there will be fields to roam about in, and more trees to look up at. Jo always hoped to write a book, but didn't set time aside to pursue that hope until recently. This has, happily, resulted in a novel called Fish, which is influenced by the environment, the strangeness of humans, and the relationships we build with one another and the world about us. Jo plans to keep writing, because it's more fun than her day job.
