After a twenty-three year career in the advertising industry as a Creative Director working across Europe, Asia, Australasia and the Middle East, Sion Scott-Wilson is now a university lecturer and provides training to industry.
Sion’s short stories have appeared in a variety of publications such as Aesthetica and Fandango. He has had plays performed at the Carriageworks, Leeds; Harrowgate Theatre; The Palace Theatre, Westcliff on Sea; and Cramphorn Theatre, Chelmsford.
Sion’s debut novel, The Sleepwalker’s Introduction to Flight, was published by MacMillan, Pan and Garzanti in 2009. In 2013 Sion won the Yeovil Literary Prize. He holds an MSc in Creative Writing from the University of Edinburgh and his commercial work has been nominated for a Scottish BAFTA.
