Leetal Arazi is a chef, food entrepreneur, and co-founder of New York Shuk, the family-run company she launched with her partner, Ron, to preserve their Middle Eastern culinary heritage and bring it into American home kitchens.

What began as a small passion project has since grown into a beloved national brand. Today, New York Shuk offers more than 18 handcrafted pantry staples—from harissa and preserved lemon paste to shawarma spice—now available in over 2,000 stores across the US, including Whole Foods Market, Wegmans, The Fresh Market, and Sprouts. NY Shuk products have won multiple Sofi Awards and have been featured in The New Yorker, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Martha Stewart, Bon Appétit, and more than ten cookbooks—including, most recently, Zahav Home by Michael Solomonov.

What sets Leetal apart is her ability to blend the authenticity of traditional Middle Eastern cooking with the realities of modern American family life. She brings not only expertise, but a genuine passion for making these flavours accessible for home cooks everywhere.

Leetal is currently working on her first book, to be published in 2027.
